Molly Cummings

Molly Cummings (she/her) is currently a grade 12 DNA Visual arts student at Laura Secord Secondary School. Molly enjoys many forms of art including visual art and theatrical design. Drawing has always been a passion for Molly. She enjoys the relaxing processes that both drawing and painting provide. She also loves the opportunity for self-expression that art provides and how it can go far beyond what words can express. She appreciates how welcoming the visual arts community at Laura Secord has been over the past few years. The peers and teachers in the Visual Arts department are all incredible people with amazing artistic skills. While Molly will miss seeing her peers and teachers at school, she looks forward to seeing where they go in pursuit of art.

Marissa Powell

I have always enjoyed working with painting mediums and creating colourful visuals. I often draw inspiration from memories and interests. In my final year of highschool and the DNA arts program, I have begun exploring the theme: treasures and memories and hope to complete a number of pieces by the end of this year. A wide variety of artistic outlets are involved in my life, including but not limited to, painting, drawing, collaring, cake decorating, crocheting, fashion, and photography. No matter where I land in my future, I will take art with me along side.

Remy Armstrong-Juhlke

I'm Remy my pronouns are he/him. I like visual art, funky rock and roll bands, rabbits, my friends and family, and anything big bright and silly.

Mylo Gerbrandt

I've been making art since I was a kid, and in my most recent body of themed works, I was then creating to heal my inner child. My main medium of choice is acrylic paint. However, I love breaking the boundaries between painting, drawing, collage, and other means of expression. All I have to say is never be afraid to experiment. You could be first to prove the impossible to be possible.
